There is one way to make these picture frames hold a moment even better and that is by having something engraved on them. Silver frames seem to be perfect for this job. Many of them are a minimalistic or modern design with a lot of flat surfaces. Metal also works much better for engraving than just about any other material. Engraving just wouldn't work on most kinds of ceramic and plastic and engraving on wood would require a bit more work.

The first of the engravable silver frames I have found is a Cunill Sterling Silver Plain Picture Frame. At first you might be scared off by the price, but you need to remember that this silver plated frame is covered in high quality sterling silver. The frame also has a high quality backing made out of important African hardwoods and are hand crafted in Barcelona, Spain as opposed to somewhere in Asia. The frames can be rested in a horizontal or vertical way. You can find this frame in a 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 form factor and of course, the frame can be ordered with custom engraving.

The next frame is a Reed and Barton Sterling Silver Narrow Border Frame. This frame comes in a 5x7 form factor so it is perfect for most standard photographs. This frame is also made with impeccable attention to detail just like the Cunill frame. It is made with 92.5% sterling silver and it is polished to an incredible shine. This frame really shows what makes sterling silver great. This frame may look traditional at first but I find it to be quite sophisticated. The frame has a fine blue velvet back and has a very narrow border. This frame can also be ordered with custom engraving.

A Tizo Sterling Silver Elegant Wood Trim Frame is also a great frame that can be ordered with engraving. Unlike the other two frames this one includes wood as well as sterling silver. The border of the frame is split in two sections. The outer section is made with a dark natural wood border and the inner border is made up of fine sterling silver. The silver, not the wood, is what is engraved on. This frame would make a perfect gift. This picture frame was hand crafted in Italy and the attention to detail really shows.

noreply@blogger.com (J.D. These are perfect for displaying photographs and some small paintings. Many people have a lot of trouble picking the right frame though. You might realize that the frame is extremely important when it comes to how your picture is perceived. You need the image to be enhanced by the frame. The way the frame matches with the rest of the room can also help draw attention to the image. There are so many frames on the market that this can cause some people to have trouble picking a frame. They can be made out of all kinds of different materials such as metal, ceramic, plastic, and wood. They can also match all kinds of different themes. If you know what you are looking for you should have no trouble finding the frame you want.

There are a few different 12x18 picture frames we think Silver Plated Frame readers might be interested in. The first is a frame made of solid wood which has been painted silver. Frames of this size are almost always meant for hanging. There aren't many places in most peoples houses where they can set a frame like this on display on a table or desk. Therefor this frame comes with a hanger but the hangers are not installed. You should be able to put them on very quickly. These are custom made in Rusty Roof Products custom framing shop and have professional v nailed corners. This company also makes frames in many other sizes.

The next picture frame is a 12x18 Antique Silver w/ Acrylic & Back. This frame is made out of a high quality polystyrene moulding which measures 1 5/8 inches wide and 5/8 inches tall. This frame includes acrylic as opposed to glass. This is because frames of this size can become extremely heavy when they have a glass front. They also become significantly less durable. The hanger has not been installed. This is so you can hang the frame however you want. If the hangers were preinstalled it would only be able to hang in one orientation. This way you can hang it either vertically or horizontally depending on your situation and artwork.

Last is the Economy Metal 12x18 Picture Frame. The biggest selling point of this frame is the price. They appear to be extremely high quality for the price. The base price on the website shows that it will cost extra for acrylic and backing though. This could work out great for you if you already have these things. As you would expect, this frame is made out of metal but it is also black. The black is extremely shiny and, if you keep it in good shape, really looks sharp. I imagine you will need to keep it clean to keep it this way. If anything can quickly ruin the way a shiny object looks quickly, its fingerprints.

noreply@blogger.com (J.D. After all, the right frame can draw attention to a photo as well as enhance its natural beauty, on the other hand a bad frame can take away from the photo or make it seem almost invisible on your desk or wall. Luckily, there are many different types of picture frames on the market for you to choose from. There are countless themes-funny, elegant, antique, or modern, and they can be made out of just about any material. It isn't uncommon to see picture frames made out of metal, ceramic, plastic, or wood.

There are several different types of 5x5 picture frame that might interest a reader of this blog. The first that I discovered was the Lawrence 5x5 Brushed Silver Plated Frame. This frame makes a perfect gift. It is a perfect square though gives the illusion of being slightly taller than it is long. It also includes glass to cover the 5x5 photograph and backing and hooks so you can either hang it on the wall. If you would prefer to set it on a table it also includes an easel for easy display. Its design is classic looking. The frame is made out of metal and includes elements that are silver plated as well as elements that kind of have a brushed aluminum look.

For those of you into wooden frames, Lawrence also makes a 5x5 picture frame that is made out of wood. These frames are made out of a high quality wood. They also include glass to cover the photograph as well as a glazed backing. Like the silver plated frame it also can be hung on a wall using the included hooks or it can be left on a desk using the easel. This frame would make an excellent gift because it comes preboxed so all you have to do is wrap it. I think it would also look nice displaying a wedding picture.

Amazon also carries a Essential Metal Picture Frame in a the 5x5 dimension. This is a very modern minimalistic metal frame. I think it would look great holding a black and white photograph but may also help brighter reds and blues pop out in a image. The frame is made out of metal, and while it isn't silver plated, it has a silver finish. They also advertise that the frame is engravable but it doesn't come with any kind of engraving right out of the box.

For 5x5 photos you can also fit them in much bigger frames. I have seen 10x10 frames that were specifically made for photos this small. They have a very big mat. These frames also include a hanging accessories as well as an easel to hang them on. Most also include a very nice acid free mat. I find the mat looks best in white, especially if you are going with a metal frame. Bigger frames usually use Plexiglas as opposed to glass. This allows the frame to be lighter as well as more durable.

noreply@blogger.com (J.D. You cannot simply just put these great captured moments in any frame, you have to find the perfect frame for each picture. It shouldn't be your goal to find a picture frame to display your photographs you want great picture frames that enhance your photographs.

In order to enhance your photographs you need to both draw attention to the image and play off of its natural beauty. It really has to match the frame you put it in. There are many different picture frames available. As you probably know, there are millions of different sizes, themes, colors, and styles. They can come in modern, elegant, baroque, rustic, antique, minimalistic and thousands of other potential styles. And then each of these styles can be made out of many different materials. Popular ones seem to be wood, plastic, ceramic, and of course silver plated metal.

What I am really passionate about though, is silver plated picture frames. I see very few pictures that don't look great in them (paintings on the other hand need a lot more thought put into the process of picking their frame). These look especially great with black and white photos.

One of the best collections of photograph frames I have seen lately is the Martha Stewart Collection of Silver Plated Frames. A few of these products really jumped out at me, but before I get into that I want to take a general overview of the collection. These have an extremely modern look to them. They are very minimalistic with a a very thin rim. What is really different about frames in this category though is that the rims are beaded as opposed to just being flat. It certainly adds a bit of uniqueness to these specific frames.

The first one that jumped out at me was the 5 Photo Collage Silver Plated Frame. The first thing you might notice about this frame is that it has a very unique way of separating the photos. Most “true” collage picture frames give each image a similarly sized framed hole. These ones splits the frame in fourths, then splits one of the fourths in half. I think it look really unique. This would be especially great for doing something like putting 3 large pictures of each of your children (if you have 3 of course) and then 2 smaller photos of all of you together. These frames also have a nice looking cream colored mat.

Most of the collection has a beaded edge but there are also Thin Rimmed Silver Plated Frames. Rather than having the rounded over beaded edge they have the far more modern look of a thin flat edge. These are still made of a nice looking silver plating and the polishing looks great. I find them to be far more elegant than the rest of the already elegant collection of silver plated frames.

noreply@blogger.com (J.D. Some people might even find this as hard to taking the perfect picture in the first place. Some of you may not understand what makes the frame so important. What it really comes down to, is the picture frame needs to really do two things- enhance the photograph and draw attention to it. Now, obviously just a simple photograph laying on a table or hung up n the wall cannot do this on its own, so having the perfect picture frame is really important.
There are many different types of picture frames on the market. There are billions of different combinations when you take into the account all of the different sizes, themes, styles, and materials. Your frames can be made of metal, ceramic, plastic, or even wood and these can come in many styles such as modern, antique, elegant, rustic, an minimalist.

One of the most popular types of frame we feel our readers might enjoy, is a modern silver plated frame. These work perfectly for photographs, especially ones that were taken in (or converted into) black and white. They can be hung up in just about any part of the house and fit with just about any style. Though a very modern picture frames will obviously fit best in a room that is following a very modern theme. They also look great if you put them on a desk because they really enhance the way the photo looks, display them in a tasteful way, and also draw attention to them in a tasteful way. Some photo frames seem to scream at you and nobody wants that.

There are several different choices when it comes to buying modern silver plated frames. First of all there is the Pottery Barn Modern-Silver Plated Frame. These are a great looking variation of a classic looking gallery frame. They are made too look like a very elegant thin line of brightly polished silver runs around the photo completely surrounding it. These frames are a matless design and the silver is plated over a high quality brass. The frame is coated in a fine lacquer to seal the silver finish and protect it and the frame is also backed in a nice black velvet. These are meant to be displayed either vertically or horizontally and would probably look best on a tabletop as opposed to being hung.

Abigail Silver Plated Frames are also a great choice. While still appearing modern, they carry a much more traditional look than the previously mentioned frames. They are not designed to be matless but are backed with a high quality black velvet. The silver runs in a very brightly polished slim line around the photo. Unlike the other frames these do not have very strait lines and instead show a very nice curved shape. The mats are acid free and look great with the frames unique bevel cuts.

noreply@blogger.com (J.D.
